Utica, NY - Mitchell Marlow of the Utica College men's cross country team has been named the UC Male Athlete of the Week.

Marlow had a stellar weekend, notching a second-place finish with a 27:03 time in his first standard eight kilometer distance race this year. This performance comes two weeks after he finished as the top Division III runner on a short course at Hamilton College where he paced a 5:27 mile.

Marlow's effort propelled the Pioneers to a second-place overall finish at the SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational out of eight total teams.

The Utica College men's cross country team will look to keep its strong start going this Saturday at Williams College.
