Marlo Townsend has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of March 9th, 2026.

Townsend had an excellent weekend for the Pioneers during an AARTFC outing that saw the program achieve seven new school records, along with the women’s team placing 11th out of 60. Townsend toppled two of those seven school records, setting new program bests in the 3000m (10:12.48 - 9th place) and the 5000m (18:14.48 - 12th place) to help the team compete against the best in the northeast.

Three track athletes, Spencer Borghardt, Allie Cary, and Laura Suppa will head down to Birmingham, Alabama this Saturday to conclude the indoor portion of the Pioneers' season at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
