NEW HARTFORD - The Utica University men's golf team wrapped up its 36 hole match against Hamilton on Sunday. The Pioneers posted an eight stroke improvement over their first round score with a 332 in the second round, but Hamilton compounded its opening round lead to win by a 622-672 score at the Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford. 

The match was held on a 6,792 yard, Par 71 layout. 

Joe Miga (Clinton, NY/Notre Dame) improved on his first round of 77 with a final round 75 to pace the Pioneers. He was the medalist of the match with a two-day total of 152. Adam Woodmansee (Brewerton, NY/Paul V. Moore) also contributed to the team's improved score with a second round 80 after logging a 91 in the first round. Donovan Ott (Lebanon, PA/) marked down an 88, Blake Holmes (Apple Valley, MN/Minnesota Wilderness (NAHL)) carded an 89, and Brett Everson (Mississauga, Ontario/Hawkesbury (CCHL)) put down a 99. 

The Pioneers do not have another match currently on their schedule for Spring 2022.
