OSWEGO, NY - The Utica University men's golf team wrapped up day one at the Oswego Country Club in third place out of eight teams.

Adam Woodmansee (Brewerton, NY/Paul V. Moore) and Nathan Macdonald (Canton, MA/Canton) tied for first for the Pioneers on day one, both placing 5th overall out of 23 golfers. They scored an 82, 11-over-par.
 
Neil Roman (Oswego, NY/Oswego) finished 13-over-par and 6th overall followed by Aydin Parekh (Nobleton, Ontario/Blyth Academy) in 7th place, 14-over-par.
 
Day two of the Oswego Spring Invitational picks up tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Oswego Country Club.
