Utica University Athletics

Junior Aaron Gudrian of the men's swim and dive team has been selected as the Utica College Male Athlete of the Week.

Gudrian earned second place individually in the 100-yard butterfly event with a time of 59.43, scoring four points for the Pioneers at the meet. Also he was a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a new pool record with a time of 7:56.26, as the Pioneers defeated Cazenovia 77-59.

The men's swim and dive team currently sit at a record of 5-3 so far this year. The team returns to the water on January 13th, 2017 to face Alfred University and Wells College. This home meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
