Utica, NY- Senior forward Kyle Lajeunesse was named the Utica College Male Athlete of the Week on Monday.

This past weekend Lajeunesse helped the Pioneers men’s hockey team to two wins. On Saturday, he scored three points with one goal and two assists in the 8-0 win over Chatham University. Lajeunesse scored one goal on Sunday in the 5-2 win over Lebanon Valley College to cap off a four-point weekend.

This season the senior right-wing has 11 points with four goals and seven assists in 17 games played.

Lajeunesse and the Pioneers start a three-game road trip on Friday when they travel to Stevenson University to take on the Mustangs (7 p.m.) before traveling to Neumann on Saturday (7 p.m.). The Pioneers will return home to face Manhattanville College on Feb. 17.
