Utica, NY – Josh Haskin of the Utica College men’s hockey team has been selected as Co-UC Male Athlete of the Week along with Antonio Scala from the football team.
 
Haskin helped propel the Pioneers to a 2-0 sweep of last week’s games, as they defeated Manhattanville (5-1) and Neumann (8-1) in UCHC competition. In the win over Manhattanville he finished with a career-high four assists. Josh then followed that up with a one goal, two assist performance in the win against Neumann.
 
His play last week has him tied for the lead in the UCHC with six assists early on this season. Haskin’s assist total has already surpassed that of last season, when he finished with five assists in the 2017-18 campaign.
 
The Pioneers have won two in a row heading into Friday’s road game against Nazareth. The puck will drop at 7 p.m.
