Utica, NY - Junior guard Brigid Johndrow of the Utica College women's basketball team has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week for her stellar outings this past weekend.
She posted 13 points and six rebounds in a convincing 84-34 victory over the Elmira Soaring Eagles Friday night, marking her third highest-scoring game of the season. Johndrow netted a season-high 14 points earlier in the season on Nov. 26 and Dec. 10 against Delhi and Alfred State, respectively.
The 5-foot-8 guard kept things rolling Saturday afternoon, tabbing a 12-point, five-assist showing in a 67-60 win over Hartwick on the road.
The 9-5 UC women's basketball team will return to action this Friday, as it is set to host the St. John Fisher Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.
