Alyssa Pisano has been selected as a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of October 7th.
 
Pisano had a couple of stunning offensive performances for a Pioneer team that captured 2 important wins in this week's action. The Utica veteran scored 4 goals over the 2-game slate, with three of those four scores occurring in an Empire 8 matchup against Keuka, netting her an elusive hat trick. Pisano was also extremely efficient throughout the week, with all of her 8 shots being on target. The Hopewell Junction native even managed to create a penalty stroke opportunity against Keuka, with one of her shots forcing a Wolves error. Her knack for finding soft spots in the defense has been a big point of emphasis for a Pioneer offense that has started to find some momentum as of late.
