Jackie Mace has been selected as a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of December 15th.Â
The rookie wrestler had a multi-win outing during the Pioneers’ trip to the Terrier Round Robin this past Sunday out in Hiram, Ohio. In the open, Mace defeated Brooke Walsh of Alfred State and Basil Kiracofe of Carthage to capture a pair of big victories to cap off the fall semester. Mace’s win over Walsh came in a clutch clash, as she took down her Pioneer counterpart by a 10-8 decision. Then, in the final match of the day, Mace defeated Kiracofe by fall, taking down the Carthage wrestler by a 10-4 final. Mace grabbed her fifth and sixth wins of the 2025-2026 season.
