Bridget Greenwald of the Utica College women’s basketball team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Greenwald guided the Pioneers to a 2-1 week after averaging 11.0 points and 12.7 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 2.0 assists per contest.

She tallied 14 points and added 13 rebounds as the Pioneers’ defeated host RPI 81-73 on Thursday. She added 16 rebounds (12 defensive), eight points and six steals in the Pioneers’ 60-59 win over Sage on Saturday.  She shot 46.4% (13-of-28) from the floor for the week.

She is currently averaging a double-double this season with 12.5 rebounds and 10.3 points per game.  She also has a team-best 14 steals in four games.  She has 19 offensive rebounds and she is shooting 45.9% from the floor (17-of-37). 

The Pioneers are back on the hardwood on Sunday as they take on Hamilton College, with tip time scheduled for 2 p.m. Utica does not return home until December 10^th, when it hosts Union.
