UTICA, NY — Sophomore goalie Bria Reilly was named the Utica College Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Last weekend in two games against United College Hockey Conference foe Manhattanville, she totaled 49 saves to help the Pioneers pick up three big points in the conference standings. She recorded her second career shutout on Friday against the Valiants with 21 saves in a 0-0 tie. On Saturday she tallied 28 more saves and picked up the win by the score of 3-1. The Valiants had no answer as the sophomore kept them scoreless on nine power plays this past weekend.

Reilly is currently ranked in the top 40 nationally with her 2.15 goals against average and .923 save percentage.

Reilly and the women’s hockey team are back in action this weekend as they host Lebanon Valley College on Saturday and Sunday. Both games are scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
