Utica, NY -- Kara O’Driscoll of the Utica College women’s golf team has been named the UC Female Athlete of the Week after earning the program’s first ever Empire 8 All-Conference selection this past weekend.

O’Driscoll jumped up five spots in the standings after round one, placing eighth individually at the Empire 8 Fall Championships. With five pars and a birdie on the final day of play, Kara carded an 86 in round two to shed five strokes off her first round score.

She ended the fall of her junior campaign on a high note, as the 2018 fall season has now come to an end for the Pioneers.
