Utica, NY - Junior Tyler Pietrowski of the Utica College men's hockey team has been named the UC Male Athlete of the Week for his performance in a 7-1 exhibition win over Morrisville State Saturday night at Kennedy Arena in Rome, New York.

Pietrwoski dished out one assist, which came in second period of this contest to freshman and Rome native Jaxon Rutkowski to give the Pioneers a 5-1 lead. The former Odessa Jackalopes right wing then netted a goal five minutes later to extend the Utica lead to 6-1.

Utica College men's hockey will lace it back up for its presason home opener against the University of New England Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
