Junior Nicodemus Gambill of the men’s track and field team was named the College’s male athlete of the week for his performance on Saturday.
 
Gambill finished first and had a record setting performance of 6.96 in the 60-meter dash, which is good enough for the fourth fastest time in the country for DIII. He also finished first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.63, which was good enough for second in the nation.
 
The Pioneers return to action on January 16^th as they host the Harold T. and Bernadette Clark Invitational. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
