Kaitlyn Stinson from the women's cross-country team was selected on Monday as Utica College's Female Athlete of the Week. Her performance also earned her the Empire 8 Female Runner of the Week award and a selection as one of the National Cross Country Athletes of the Week.

Stinson was the first runner in the field to cross the finish line at the Hamilton College Tune-up Invitational on October 22nd. She came in first place out of 66 runners with a time of 16:06.7. She led the Pioneers as the team came in first place at the meet overall.

Stinson and the rest of the Pioneers will be back in action this weekend on October 29th, to compete at the Empire 8 Championships.
