2014: Perkins played in 20 games while starting 14 for the Pioneers… Recorded 11 hits in 43 at-bats for a .256 average… Had two RBIs and five runs scored… Was struck-out 10 times and had seven walks… Had his best batting performance in the season-opener against Me.-Farmington where he went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, to go along with two stolen bases and two walks … Opened the season with five hits in three games … Went 1-for-2 at the plate and added one run scored, one stolen base and one RBI in the Pioneers’ win over Keuka College (5/6/14)… Closed out the season with a hit in five of the last six games … Caught 18 putouts and had a field percentage of .950. 

2013: Perkins started 23 of the 27 games he played … Recorded 18 hits in 75 at-bats for a .240 average … Had four doubles, eight RBI and 11 runs scored … Walked 10 times and struck out 17 times … Successfully stole a base on all 10 attempts … Perkins was hit by a pitch once … Went 4-for-4 at St. John Fisher with two stolen bases and a run scored (4/7/2013) … Went 4-for-4 against Union College, including a double, two RBI’s, a walk, three stolen bases and three runs scored (5/2/2013).

2012: Perkins appeared in 25 games, starting 19 … Had 17 hits in 62 at-bats for a .274 average … Recorded three doubles, five walks and was hit by a pitch four times … Stole 12 bases on 15 attempts … Had a five game hitting streak (4/14 to 4/25) … Stole two bases in a game four times.

Personal: Nick is a 2011 graduate of Schenectady High School … He is the son of Susan and Lawrence Perkins and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology.
