2014: Richard played in five games as a relief pitcher for the Pioneers… Throughout five games, he appeared in 9.2 innings… Allowed 11 hits, two earned runs and four walks… Had three games where he did not allow earned runs at St. John Fisher (4/6/14), Stevens (4/27/14) and Oswego State (5/7/14)… Only allowed one earned run in two games… Allowed just one hit at St. John Fisher (4/6/14)…Registered one putout against Stevens (4/27/14)… Finished the season with a 1.86 ERA.         

2013: Richards appeared in nine games as a relief pitcher for the Pioneers … In 9.0 innings pitched, he allowed 17 hits and eight runs for a 8.00 ERA … Gave up five walks and struck out three batters … Ended the season with five consecutive scoreless appearances in a combined 4.2 innings. 

2012: Richards appeared in 14 games as a relief pitcher for the Pioneers … Allowed 11 earned runs on 29 hits in 22.1 innings … Registered a 4.43 era … Walked eight batters and struck out seven … Allowed four hits and no runs against Stevens in 2.2 innings of work (4/6).

Personal: James is a 2011 graduate of Holland Patent High School … He is the son of Nancy and Dale Richards and is pursuing a degree in Cyber Security.
