Utica, NY - Sophomore Kira Seaman of the Utica College women's swim & dive team has been named UC female athlete of the week for her outing this past weekend in a road dual meet against St. Lawrence.

Seaman posted the best individual finish of the afternoon, placing first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:24.42. Michael Leyburn was the lone Pioneer on the men's side to place first, as he did so in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.13.

The Pioneers return home this Saturday for a Senior Day dual meet against Clarkson at 1 p.m.
