Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY – Molly Ferguson of the Utica College women’s track and field team has been chosen as the UC Female Athlete of the Week for her performance over the weekend.
 
On Saturday, Ferguson threw a 2^nd place distance of 41.33 meters in the discus competition at the Cortland Classic. Her throw marks a new personal-best and sets a new school-record in the discus.
 
The throw places Molly 34^th on the national qualifier list and second in the Empire 8 for discus throwers.
 
The Pioneers are on the road this weekend to compete at the St. Lawrence University Twilight Invite.
