A three-time Empire 8 First Team All-Conference selection from 2011-2013 and Empire 8 Champion in 2010, Meghan Fiore also earned ECAC Upstate First Team honors as a senior. She was awarded the Jim ‘Doc’ Spartano Outstanding Senior Athlete Award as well.

Fiore finds herself in the Utica career record books in several categories after a remarkable career. Scoring 1,492 points she ranks fourth in program history, eighth in scoring average (14.3), seventh in rebounds (662), and third in blocks (86). She also was the fifth Utica player to finish her career with at least 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.Â

As a freshman in 2010, Fiore was a part of the team’s second ever Empire 8 Championship and first NCAA Tournament victory where they defeated Moravian 64-61 before falling in the round of 32. She averaged 8.4 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game during a program record 22 win season.Â

Scoring 35 points against Elmira in 2012, she holds the program record for most points in a single game. Her 32 point game the year before ranks third best in a single game as well. She also grabbed 19 rebounds against Elmira her junior season, fourth most in a single game. Fiore was a force on both sides of the floor, totaling 15 double doubles throughout her career.Â

When Fiore became a full-time starter in 2010-11, she displayed nothing but excellence, averaging 17.7, 17.1, and 15.2 points per game during these seasons. She also compiled 551 rebounds (7.3 per game), 82 steals (1.1 per game) and 72 blocks (1.0 per game). For her junior and senior year, she led the team in both points and rebounds. She also holds the seventh best field goal percentage in a single season (.576) from her sophomore campaign in 2010-11, helping lead the team to an Empire 8 tournament appearance.
