Hall of Fame
Mick Krajacic was a four year lockdown defender for the Utica College men’s lacrosse team. Krajacic was the first player in program-history to be named a USILA All-American (third team selection) and he was the program’s first three-time Empire 8 All-Conference First Team selection.
Krajacic, who was a two-time Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-American, was the only player in program history to earn Empire 8 All-Conference First Team status at the time of his graduation. He was a two-year captain and he played in a school-record 61 career contests. He graduated as the College’s all-time leader with 211 caused turnovers, good for an average of 3.46 caused turnovers per game.
As a senior he broke his own single-season mark by causing 64 turnovers and he also ranks fifth all-time with 233 career ground balls.
Following his senior campaign he participated in the 71st annual USILA/LaxWorld Division III Senior North/South Game at Harvard Stadium. He was just the third player in program-history to earn a spot in the North/South Senior Game, joining the likes of the program’s all-time leading scorer Matt Donaldson and sharpshooter Michael Bulger.
He was also a 2012 ECAC Mid-Atlantic First Team All-Star and was one of just two players from the Empire 8 Conference to earn a First Team ECAC All-Star selection. He also earned one of the College’s most prestigious honors for an athlete after being named the 2012 Dick Miller Award winner for an incredible four year career on the defensive end.
Mick attended Cicero North Syracuse High School and he is the son of Janet and Mike Krajcic. He graduated from Utica College with a degree in Criminal Justice and currently resides in Clay, NY.
