Utica, NY - Junior Center Kimedrick Murphy of the Utica College men's basketball team has been named UC Male Athlete of the Week for his outing last Saturday against Elmira.

The 6-foot-8 center dominated in the post, totaling 15 points and 11 rebounds en route to his fourth double-double of the season. Murphy is currently averaging a clip of 8.7 points per game and a team-high of 8.8 rebounds per game.

UC returns to action this weekend, as it is set to host Houghton Friday night at 5:30 p.m. and Alfred the following afternoon at 2 p.m.
