Biography

Cross Country

2015: Participated in six meets over the course of the season … He ran the 6K race at the Saratoga Invitational with a finishing time of 21:25.5 (9/12/15) … He ended with a time of 27:10.6 in the 8K race at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational (10/10/15) … Ran his best 8K time at the Empire 8 Championship finishing with a time of 26:58.5 (10/31/15).

2014: Zlatniski opened his junior year at the SUNYIT Short Course Invitational (8/30/14) in 35th place with a time of 21:42… He placed 4th overall at the Steven Warde Invitiational (9/6/14) with a time of 30:44.6… Posted a season-best time at the 36th Annual Geneseo Cross Country Invitational (10/4/14) with a time of 27:27.3 putting him in 134th place… Finished 28th at the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships (11/1/14) with a time of 27:45.6… Closed the season in 150th place at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships (11/15/14) with a time of 27:52.5.

2013: Zlatniski started his sophomore season placing 15th at the Steven Warde Invitational (9/7/14) finishing with a time of 30:31.0, the team placed first at the meet…  Tied for 94th at the 35th Annual Geneseo Cross Country Invitational (10/5/13), clocking in with a 28:17.9 … Finished 108th overall, out of 307 runners, clocking a time of 28:19.82 at the 2013 ECAC Division III Championships (11/9/13).  

2012: Zlatniski opened up his college career at the Colgate Invite, placing 95th in a field of races from Division I, II, and III with a final time of 24:38.00…  The freshman followed up with his best finish of the 2012 season as he placed 19th, out of 100 runners, at the Cobleskill Invite… On 10/20/12, he finished in the middle of the pack at the NYSCTC Championships as he took 78th place, out of 143 runners, with a time of 28:24.10…  In his first collegiate conference championships, at the E8’s on 10/27/12, he tallied a 55th place overall finish with a final time of 30:33.70…  He wrapped up his first-year as a Pioneer with a 191st place finish, and sixth for Utica, at the 2012 Division III Atlantic Regionals clocking a final time of 28:44.

Track & Field

2016: Ran one race in one meet for the Pioneers during the indoor season … His Mile time at the Utica College Jen & Todd Hutton Invitational was 4:38.90 and was good for a ninth place finish at the meet (12/12/15).

Personal: Corey is a 2012 graduate of Mattituck High School and is the son of Patricia and Mark Zlatniski... He is currently pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy.
